The All Progressives Congress (APC), according to Guardian, has retaliated against detractors, especially those who support Peter Obi, following claims that Felix Morka, the party’s spokesperson, threatened the former presidential candidate. Addressing Obi’s ongoing criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Morka made an appearance on Arise TV. Claims of targeting Obi were denied by the APC spokesperson, who claimed that the previous governor of Anambra had been unrelenting in his attacks.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Morka described Mr. Obi’s strategy as “shooting from the hip,” likening it to an old Western film. “He just shoots wildly without taking aim.” Morka said that Obi’s remarks were unreasonable and that the former governor did not make a significant impact in Anambra during his eight years in office.

Morka didn’t mince words, claiming that Obi’s complaints are related to his defeat in the 2023 presidential contest. Morka said, “A man who failed to make Anambra a model of governance is now pouting because he lost.” Instead of trying to overthrow the Tinubu-led government, he advised Obi to consider his electoral failure. “Mr. Obi has crossed the line so many times, and at this point, he has coming to him whatever he gets,” Morka said, despite his insistence that he wasn’t being insulting. Obi’s followers were incensed by this statement because they saw it as a threat.
