On January 1, 2025, at around 9:25 a.m., a middle-aged woman named Alice Emmanuel collapsed and died in front of the Benue Links Park in Area 3, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Reports state that the woman slumped after getting out of a taxi in front of the park. The park manager called the police right away, and they arrived on the scene and took the woman to Karu General Hospital, where the physicians declared her dead. Her body showed no signs of violence.
