In order to prevent late material arrival and early access prior to the election, Alhassan stated that KSIEC will begin distributing materials, particularly to the difficult-to-reach locations. “I want to inform this crucial assembly that the commission and other security authorities have taken sufficient preparations to ensure that these goods are transported to their destinations in a safe and undamaged manner.
He also assured the public that the commission is committed to using the law to ensure a fair, peaceful, and credible election. “In order to ensure timely distribution to all designated centers across the 34 Local Government Areas, 361 political wards, and 6,652 polling units in the state, the commission had planned to distribute the sensitive election materials early this time,” he added.

Alhassan added, “I also want to let you know that every preparation was made to ensure the exercise ran smoothly.” Prior to the election, he added, the commission had hired and trained more than 20,000 ad hoc employees. The chairman stated that the ad hoc workers would take part in the ballot in every Katsina polling station.
