Reports indicating that the couple, who got married near Barcelona in 2014, have now ended their relationship were initially shared by the Spanish publication Sport.

Serra, a journalist and writer from Brazil, decided to separate in December, with only those in their close circle initially being informed of the situation. Friends and family have allegedly been asked to keep any further details confidential, with reports stating their relationship remains “entirely amicable, stable, and friendly.”
Serra has supported Guardiola during the highlights of his career as one of football’s most successful managers. She was present in Istanbul in June 2023 when City triumphed over Inter Milan in the Champions League, securing the Treble. The couple also attended Wimbledon together in July.
Serra reportedly moved out of Manchester in 2019 to assist in managing her family’s fashion business, Serra Claret. These reports follow Manchester City experiencing several on-field difficulties this season, marking their worst stretch of results under Guardiola.
