Senator Shehu Sani, a former politician and civil rights activist, has stated that he will back Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani’s reelection in the 2027 elections. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Abuja, Sani, who just returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), disclosed this information.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

“I will be happy if I manage to get a ticket to return to the Senate in 2027 because to the political equation in Kaduna State. But even if I don’t, I’ll be content since we made sure Uba was re-elected as governor,” Sani said. Sani clarified that his desire to back Uba Sani and get past what he called a challenging political time in Kaduna State was the driving force behind his return to the APC.

“I am very pleased that Kaduna State has rid itself of the tormentor that plagued it politically,” he stated, seemingly referring to El-Rufai. For that reason, a large number of us who defected to the PDP had to rejoin the APC in recent years. The former senator, who served as the representative for Kaduna Central in the Eighth Senate, said that power is only transient and counseled those in charge to rule justly and fairly. “Use your power to influence the people for the better if God has given it to you.
