Zagazola Makama was informed by intelligence sources that Shumo, a rival bandit leader and native of Ragadada, Buruku in Birnin Gwari LGA, was responsible for the attack. The attack was a reprisal for Shekau’s earlier assault in which he allegedly took Shumo’s weapons and murdered a number of his troops.
Shekau and several of his lieutenants were killed in the ambush, which occurred on March 5, 2025, according to sources. Later, those known as Yellow Million, Baba Kusa, and an imam from Kabode village, Kachia LGA, buried the bodies of the defeated robbers. Internal conflicts among bandit factions continue to escalate, resulting in several casualties in recent times, despite the fact that banditry in Kaduna has greatly decreased thanks to non-kinetic measures by the Kaduna State administration and security forces.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
