In a statement given to THE WHISTLER in Abuja on Tuesday, Onigbinde stated that his organization was dedicated to building a top-tier industrial center that would solve Nigeria’s long-standing industrialization issues. According to him, the Sigvent model intends to link 50 businesses and related organizations, giving them access to contemporary infrastructure that is currently absent from the neighboring city center.
According to Onigbinde, the cluster’s advantageous location along a city-connecting route will relieve strain on Ogbomoso’s overburdened urban transportation system. “Sigvent Industrial Cluster Limited collaborates with top-tier experts, businesspeople, government organizations, investors, development partners, and local communities to establish a world-class industrial cluster in Ogbomoso, Oyo State’s second-largest economy,” he stated.
With the help of our approach, 50 businesses and related institutions will be able to run without the infrastructural deficiencies of the nearby city center. “The Cluster will relieve the strain on the current, extremely crowded urban transportation system and serve as a catalyst for development along the corridor that links it to the main city.” The Free Trade Area and Research and Development Center are also included in the model.
In addition to facilitating funding for institution research and value-chain development for the cluster, “Sigvent Industrial Cluster will establish a viable linkage with Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso. This relationship will promote research and development, innovation, knowledge transfer, and new products.”
In order to promote economic productivity, innovation, and employment, Onigbinde emphasized the significance of constructing industrial infrastructure. “Large-scale industrialization is desperately needed in Nigeria to achieve economic prosperity, enhance security, and improve living standards, particularly for its underprivileged rural and suburban populations,” he stated.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
