BREAKING NEWS: Trump signs a directive to remove the US from UN organizations.

President Donald Trump of the United States has signed an executive order to remove the country from the UN human rights council.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Additionally, the order will remove the United States from UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. In addition to ordering a review of U.S. participation in UNESCO, Trump signed the directive on Tuesday, saying the UN must treat nations fairly. Trump remarked, “I’ve always believed the UN has enormous potential, but it’s not living up to it.”

The United States was the largest contributor to UNRWA, contributing over $500 million annually. However, after Israel accused over a dozen UNRWA employees of participating in the Hamas strike that started the war in Gaza, former President Joe Biden suspended financing in January 2024.

Contributions to the agency were officially halted by the US Congress until at least March 2025.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in Washington at the same time that Trump orders the US to leave the UN organization. Trump previously stated that the only option available to Palestinians is to evacuate Gaza.

The president emphasized that he does not necessarily support Israelis moving in Gaza, adding that he would prefer to see them occupy a lovely plot of land in neighboring Jordan and Egypt.

With reference to the troubled comic, he stated, “I just support cleaning it up and doing something with it.”

Trump’s financial mistreatment of UNRWA is not the first time. Along with cutting off funds for the agency during his first term, he demanded undefined improvements and stated that the Palestinians must consent to a renewal of peace talks with Israel.

Trump has issued directives to remove the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement, the World Health Organization, and the WHO since assuming office on January 20.. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
