Former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, or NIIA, Akinyemi, noted that the rest of the world can learn nothing from Trump’s address. Trump, who returned as the 47th President of the United States, spoke more like a warrior than a global leader, according to a renowned political science professor.
On January 20, 2025, Trump was sworn in at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. “We will immediately stop all illegal entry and we will start the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens back to where they came from,” the president pledged. “I was saved by God to make America great again,” Trump claimed. Prof. Akinyemi, however, claimed that it was the worst inaugural address ever and that it contained threats to the rest of the globe.
Instead of speaking as a global leader, Trump spoke like a warrior. “I heard the worst inaugural address I will ever hear in my life today.
