
PANDEF member Ann Kio Briggs has expressed her opinions regarding the political situation in Rivers State. Briggs revealed in an interview with News Central TV that she felt something was very wrong at a meeting with President Tinubu to address the political situation in Rivers, but she was unable to pinpoint the issue right away.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
Briggs stated that within five days meeting with Tinubu, the governor of Rivers State Siminalayi Fubara, the deputy governor, and members of the House of Assembly were suspended.
In Briggs’ words: “I was one of the delegates in that meeting and some other Rivers indigenes that are supporting Wike were invited but they refused to attend that meeting with the president. I noticed during that meeting that something was seriously amiss, I couldn’t put my finger on it but I noticed it and immediately after the meeting, the governor of Rivers, deputy governor of Rivers and the House of Assembly members were suspended”.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
