Bwala, Peter Obi Is A Failed Politician Who Don’t Know Meaning Of Democracy

 

According to THE SUN, former presidential candidate Peter Obi has come under fire from Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, over remarks he made recently regarding democracy in Nigeria under President Tinubu. “Failed politician” is how Bwala described Obi, who has no track record of democratic activism.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

His comments were a response to Obi’s statements at a public event on Monday.

Obi, who ran for president in 2023 under the Labour Party, spoke at the 60th birthday event of former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, in Abuja and expressed concerns that Nigeria’s democracy has weakened since 1999.

Obi argued that progress made over the years had been reversed.

He said governance under President Bola Tinubu had failed to strengthen democracy.

Bwala strongly disagreed with Obi’s views and stated that Obi had no role in Nigeria’s democratic struggles and accused him of spreading hate speech.

He questioned whether Obi truly understood democracy and claimed that while others fought for democracy, Obi was focused on business.

He argued that Obi had never been involved in activism since his school days.

Bwala added that Obi was good at making controversial statements but lacked real democratic contributions.

“It is funny how failed politicians are trying to redefine democracy.”

“Peter Obi said democracy has collapsed. Does he even know the meaning of democracy?”

“When people were fighting for democracy, Gregory was buying and selling. He doesn’t have a history of any democratic activism from his school days to date.”
