During a recent church service, Pastor Ibiyeomie recounted the unusual miracle ministry of Bishop Idahosa, particularly his unexplained ability to raise the dead using ordinary water. According to Ibiyeomie, the late archbishop demonstrated the supernatural act of reviving dead individuals by simply pouring water on them without offering any clear explanation or teaching on the secret behind it.
Ibiyeomie narrated an incident where a woman, confirmed dead, was brought into the church. Instead of resorting to extended prayers or fasting, Bishop Idahosa requested for water, poured it on the lifeless body, and the woman regained consciousness instantly. Ibiyeomie emphasized that this was not an isolated case, stating that Idahosa frequently performed such miracles, yet never disclosed the divine principle or revelation behind it before his death.
He expressed wonder at why Idahosa chose to keep such a powerful spiritual mystery to himself, suggesting that the secret of using water in such an extraordinary way was a divine insight God entrusted to the late cleric alone.
According to him, “There was one man who—till tomorrow—I’ve not understood why he didn’t tell us how he used water to raise the dead. He went home with that revelation and never told us. Bishop Idahosa would take water from somebody in church and pour it on a dead person and the dead would wake up. He didn’t tell anybody. God showed him something about using water to raise the dead. I remember a story about someone who fainted—confirmed dead. They brought a dead woman to church. He said, “Give me water.” They didn’t pray; they just poured the water on the dead woman and she woke up right inside the church. You pour water on dead people and they wake up!
