Following Israeli attacks in the enclave that have killed hundreds of people, including UN officials, the UN announced Monday that it was cutting its number of foreign employees in Gaza by almost a third. In a routine news briefing, UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric disclosed that the action was decided for operational and security reasons and that roughly 30 of the 100 international employees now stationed in Gaza will be leaving.
