The tussle in Rivers state, which was said to have emanated from the feud between the state’s governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, escalated after the Supreme Court released a judgement restricting the Central Bank of Nigeria from disbursing the Rivers state allocation.
Things took a different turn after the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declared a state of emergency in Rivers state, thereby suspending Governor Fubara, his deputy, and the lawmakers in the state.
However, in the video, the ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, narrated how people called for his intervention in the political struggle existing in Rivers state.
