Ayabonga Mjilo, age 21, was found dead and buried in a shallow grave in eNanda, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Mjilo was reported missing on Monday, December 23, 2024, after last been saw on Christmas Day leaving an Umhlanga eatery. According to KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda, a 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with her kidnapping and murder.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
According to Netshiunda, Mjilo was seen leaving the restaurant early on December 25 with a male companion. An abduction complaint was made after she failed to return home. Following thorough investigations, police were able to identify the person who was seen with Mjilo at the restaurant. “It was revealed that he was her manager and had taken her to his home in Amaotana, eNanda,” said Netshiunda.
After an argument between the two, the guy is suspected of strangling Mjilo to death and hiding her body in his yard. The culprit was arrested on Saturday, January 4, 2025, early in the morning.
