President Donald Trump has claimed that the gifts given to nations throughout the world by the former US government were the result of widespread fraud. The new directives focus on “ensuring accountability for all agencies,” “radical transparency about wasteful spending,” and “expanding access to in vitro fertilization (IVF)” in order to increase treatment accessibility and affordability. Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has identified “waste,” which Trump denounced, adding, “They are finding levels of fraud and waste and abuse I think nobody ever thought possible.”
The president emphasized that “incredible things are happening in our country.” “Especially in terms of our nation’s prestige, we’ve advanced more in three weeks than they have in four years. People are once again showing us respect. Trump referred to the Tesla CEO as “a patriot” for his efforts when he was asked to explain Musk’s status in his government after the White House claimed in a court filing that the senior advisor has no decision-making authority.
While reading from a paper, the president stated that the data DOGE provided him showed that millions of people between the ages of 100 and 249—some as old as 360—were getting Social Security benefits. Trump stated, giving precise numbers on spending outside of the United States: For an environmental consultant, $520 million. The term “environmental, social, and governance investments in Africa” refers to this. $520 million for environmental studies was awarded to someone.
$25 million to support the preservation of biodiversity and sustainable livelihoods in Colombia by encouraging socially conscious conduct. That’s a wonderful twenty-five million dollars for something no one has heard of. “$42 million for Johns Hopkins to conduct research and promote social and behavioral change in Uganda; $40 million to enhance the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants.” How about us?
“$70 million for a Purdue center to study evidence-based, university-sourced solutions to mental health issues.” These are enormous figures for something that no one has ever heard of. In Mozambique, $10 million will be used for voluntary medical male circumcisions. $9.7 million for UC Berkeley to train a group of young Cambodians with enterprise-driven skills; $10 million for circumcision in another nation.
$32 million to the Prague Civil Society Center; $2.3 million to support independent voices in Cambodia I wonder how much of that money was returned to the approvers. “$486 million to the consortium for elections and political process strengthening, including $22 million for an inclusive and participatory political process in Moldova; $14 million for public procurement in Serbia.”
$20 million for fiscal federalism in Nepal and $21 million for voter turnout in India. Take a look at these figures—all of this is fraud. $19 million to conserve Nepal’s biodiversity. $14 million for social cohesion in Mali; $2.5 million for inclusive democracy in South Africa; $47 million for enhancing learning outcomes in Asia; and $1.5 million for voter confidence in Liberia.
In order to improve socioeconomic solidarity among underprivileged communities in Ashkali, Egypt, and Kosovo, $2 million will be used to create sustainable recycling models. “Hundreds of billions of dollars are at stake here.
