With effect from March 1, 2025, Multichoice plans to raise the cost of its DStv and GOtv packages. “This will allow us to keep providing our customers with top-notch domestic and foreign content, delivered via the most advanced technology.” Nearly a year has passed since its most recent price review. The DStv Compact bouquet will now cost N19,000 instead of N15,700, the Compact Plus will cost N30,000, and the Premium subscription will cost N44,500, according to the company’s most recent price revision.

The cost on GOtv Plus will increase from N4,850 to N5,800, while GOtv users who now pay N3,600 will now pay N3,900. The GoTV Max bundle will now cost N8,500, while the Supa and Supa Plus packages would cost N11,400 and N16,800, respectively. The parent firm of DStv and GOtv, MultiChoice, asserted that the price hike was brought on by the rising expenses of operating a business in Nigeria.
