Augusta, Benjamin Killaboi’s girlfriend, was tragically killed in a violent confrontation with him. Previously, he was known as Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo. He stabbed Augusta to death, then concealed her body in his house while using her cell phone to send false messages to her relatives while feigning she was still alive.
Following a police manhunt, Benjamin left Nigeria and went to Sierra Leone, where he allegedly paid $25,000 for a new passport and assumed the identity of Kanu Princeton. Benjamin was later turned over to Nigerian officials, even though Augusta’s brother Heze had found him and had him detained in Sierra Leone in October 2023.
But in Nigeria, Benjamin was able to bribe his way out of police custody and avoid the law once more. Those pursuing justice for Augusta are heartbroken and angry since he quickly left the country and has been residing in Qatar, where he publicly displays his money and opulent lifestyle on social media.
