According to TMZ, her remains were found after a wildfire destroyed her Altadena house. The tragic event happened as the Eaton Fire tore across neighborhoods east of Los Angeles, destroying homes and forcing many people to evacuate from Altadena and Pasadena.
Despite the tragic fire in Los Angeles, the Grammy Awards are still scheduled on February 2. She mentioned that she had dropped her grandma off at her home in Altadena on Tuesday, January 7, the day before she had last seen her. The wildfire broke out later that day, wreaking havoc and devastation across the area. Police barricades prevented the granddaughter from entering the location when she returned the next day to see how Dalyce Curry was doing.
After telling her that the property had been damaged, an officer pointed her in the direction of a local civic center that was providing shelter to displaced residents. Authorities confirmed on Sunday, January 12, that Curry had died inside her home after the fire after a thorough search turned up no evidence of the popular actress.

According to the mother of 32-year-old British child star Rory Sykes, her son perished in the Pacific Palisades fire. In the 1990s, Sykes made an appearance on the television show Kiddy Kapers. After seeing the burned-out remnants of her Malibu beach property, Paris Hilton claims her “heart shattered into a million pieces.”
The hotel heiress described herself as “in complete shock” and claimed it was “devastating” to see her family’s memories “reduced to ashes.” Hilton, 43, claimed to have seen her house burn down on television and posted a video of the destroyed building on social media.
