Speaking on the matter, senator Nwaebonyi dismissed the claims, stating that Omokri was in the United States attending to national matters during the period in question. He accused senator Natasha of making baseless accusations at the slightest provocation.
At some point during the interview, Nwaebonyi, referring to an incident of the past, stated that “senator Natasha accused Reno Omokri of sexual harassment during the time of Goodluck Jonathan as president when the young man was already in the US and attended to national issues, but unluckily for her, she didn’t know that this young man was out of the country and, upon the slightest provocation, would come up with sexual allegations.
Speaking further, he stated that, “I don’t know what is wrong with senator Natasha; does she think she is the most beautiful woman on earth? or is it because she has a chocolate colour?
He further stated that, “in my own assessment, she’s not among the beautiful women in Nigeria, and it is high time we come hard on her.
