Speaking on Saturday night, just after the Nigerian Army’s Combined West African Social Activities (WASA) 2024 took place at 1 Brigade Cantonment in Gusau, Zamfara state, General Timothy gave his word that the military’s battle against banditry would not end until the state’s peace was restored. Turji is a coward who has deserted his foot soldiers as a result of our pressure. We’ve eliminated a lot of them, and we’ll keep up the pressure by going straight to their strongholds,” he promised.
He expressed gratitude to the state’s communities for their collaboration, especially in providing crucial intelligence data that has resulted in notable progress in the state’s battle against insecurity.
