JUST-IN: Bello Turji’s second-in-command, Aminu Kanawa, and close associates are neutralized by troops.

Aminu Kanawa, the second-in-command of infamous terrorist commander Bello Turji, was neutralized by troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA operating in the North West, according to a statement released by the Defense Headquarters (DHQ) on Wednesday. Additionally, according to the military high command, troops killed Dosso, Bello Turji’s younger brother, and Danbokolo, one of Turji’s closest pals, by causing them to suffer fatal injuries. Several of Bello Turji’s important leaders, including Abu Dan Shehu, Jabbi Dogo, Dan Kane, Basiru Yellow, Kabiru Gebe, Bello Buba, and Dan Inna Kahon-Saniya-Yafi-Bahaushe, were neutralized by forces, according to General Buba. Additionally, troops killed more than 24 terrorists who were escaping from Bello Turji’s Camp in the areas of Gebe and Isa LGA in Sokoto State and Gidan Rijiya in Shinkafi LGA in Zamfara State.

In the assault on Bello Turji’s Enclave on the Fakai high ground, troops also killed another prominent terrorist.He is Suleiman, a supporter of the late, infamous terrorist commander Halilu Sububu. “The late Suleiman was killed in the firefight while leading a reinforcement team to rescue Bello Turji’s Camp, which was in chaos,” he claimed.

The terrorist network in the country’s northwest, along with its military and combat skills, had suffered a serious setback, he claimed, with the deaths of Bello Turji’s second in command, close associates, commanders, and opponents. According to him, “these terrorists were notorious for numerous kidnappings and terrorist attacks throughout the North West, especially in the local government areas of Zurmi, Shinkafi, Isa, and Sabon Birni in Zamfara and Sokoto states.” Buba stated that until these terrorists are totally eliminated, forces will not give up. “Creating a sense of safety and security for all citizens is the goal of troop operations,” he stated.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
