In the Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, at Tipper Garage, close to SDP Junction, a 36-year-old man named Jamilu Dayyabu is accused of stabbing his buddy Musa Bala after a fight over a lady. According to Suleiman, a Tipper Garage homeowner, the incident took place at a nearby observation center on Sunday at approximately 10:12 p.m.

He added that after learning of the woman’s apparent invitation from Bala to meet him at the viewing center for some talks, Dayyabu tracked her down and met her there with a buddy. Dayyabu has been dating the woman for more than a year, he stated, and he has allegedly spent money on her.

He claims that Dayyabu was unable to see the woman at her home on Sunday night and instead went to see her at her home in the neighborhood. It was said that he called her but got no answer.

“From what I’ve been told, Dayyabu has been seeing the girl for more than a year and had plans to wed her, but his friend Bala apparently snuck in and began dating her as well. When he arrived at the girl’s house that Sunday evening, he found her away from home,” he stated. He claimed that after learning that the girl was at the viewing center with his friend, Dayyabu got on his bike and went to meet her. A fight then broke out.

Dayyabu pulled out a knife during the altercation, stabbed his friend in the neck and abdomen, and fled, he said. The vigilantes were called and came to the site, but the woman also got away, and the wounded was taken to the nearby hospital.

Ibrahim Manu, a vigilante who corroborated the occurrence, claimed that the suspect, who lives at the nearby Unguwar Abattoir, was at large. “Yes, the man escaped when the vigilante arrived, but we are pursuing him to make sure we apprehend him and turn him over to security,” he added. “The woman also escaped, but we are also keeping an eye on her to make sure she is taken into custody.” As at the time the report was filed, SP Adeh Josephine, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, had not confirmed the occurrence.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
