The distinguished law professor scowled at the trend, calling it “growing more common” and regrettable. “Women and children are particularly vulnerable to these horrific acts, which are often motivated by the pursuit of money and power,” said Professor Ezeilo, who was the previous Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC).
