According to Muyiwa Adejobi, Emir Sanusi was invited after one person died during an event that went down in the state on Sallah day. Adejobi said Aminu Bayero and Muhammad Sanusi had earlier dropped an official statement that they won’t hold Durbar on Sallah day but Sanusi was seen riding a horse.
According to Muyiwa Adejobi;
“They all agreed there will not be any Durbar in Kano state on Sallah day. Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi went to the praying ground in his car. Suddenly after the prayer, he decided to ride on a horse. That signifies so many things. He did that in company of many vigilante guys in the area. There was problem after that.
