He praised Tinubu as someone who is not a religious bigot, highlighting that he has equally supported both Muslims and Christians, particularly in their pilgrimage endeavors.
Speaking in Jerusalem during the conclusion of the pilgrimage, known as the “JP’s Ceremony,” Adegbite described Tinubu as a divine blessing for Nigeria, emphasizing that his leadership would bring positive change. He assured that by the end of Tinubu’s tenure, it would be evident that he was sent by God.
“People complained about Muslim -Muslim ticket, “see what Muslim – Muslim ticket has done; what Mr. President has done for the Christian community, no President since independence has done.
“He will restore Nigeria, regardless of opposition. By the time his term ends, Nigerians will recognize that he is truly sent by God,” Adegbite stated.
He also highlighted that President Tinubu helped reduce the cost of pilgrimage by covering half of the expenses.
For every amount paid by individuals or state governments, the federal government, under Tinubu’s leadership, contributed an equal amount in support
The NCPC praised First Lady Senator Remi Tinubu, calling her a “pillar” and “the Esther of our time,” acknowledging her unwavering support for the Christian community and her strong faith in the prosperity of all.
Adegbite urged the pilgrims not to focus on the inconveniences or financial challenges they might face, as the true purpose of being in the Holy Land is to gain spirituality, something that cannot be measured in monetary terms.
