She condemned the personal attacks on Akpoti-Uduaghan, questioning why her marriage history was being weaponized against her. She criticized the Senate’s double standards, arguing that while women’s emotions are dismissed as “drama,” male senators’ statements are accepted without question. She also accused the lawmakers of dishonesty, insisting that all of them had lied under oath.
She said in an interview with News Central TV, “Why wouldn’t I get emotional if you’re preying on a private part of me? Imagine the audacity of saying, ‘Look at how many husbands she’s married to!’ If one didn’t work and I remarried, that should say I’m disciplined—that I’d rather be a married woman in a home than anything else. But for that, everyone is talking. I do my best to contain my emotions in public because they say women get ‘too passionate.’ How did that red-cap whatever his name is, know Natasha is lying, but he’s not?
