A video that was uploaded to News Central TV’s official X account shows Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, saying that it’s not true that only Ijaw people can blow pipelines. The statement was made by the former Rivers State governor in an interview with the media in Abuja. No tribe or individual, he claimed, is incapable of blowing the pipeline. According to Nyesom Wike;
“Let me say this, I have heard a lot of people say if they impeach him, there will be break down of law and order, that’s rubbish, nonsense. Who are the militants? Who is not a militant? Tell me who was born as a militant? Who can not blow the pipeline? Why do you arrogate this power to a certain set of power?
