
Kachikwu also suggested that one of the key reasons Fubara remains in office despite the political crisis is the intervention of top security officials and the presidency. According to him, the National Security Adviser (NSA) and President Bola Tinubu have played significant roles in ensuring that the Rivers State governor has not been impeached. He emphasized that while the political conflict continues, efforts are being made behind the scenes to prevent further escalation.
“Wike and those people talking in that manner are just playing politics. They don’t have the capacity, they mean none of those things they say, and they can’t do it. I believe the National Security Adviser has been on top of this from day one. I believe that one of the reasons why Fubara has not been impeached is because you have the National Security Adviser in the fray, you have the president in the fray, and you have a lot of people working in the background to ensure that the governor has not been impeached,” Kachikwu stated.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
