
According to VANGUARD, Aminu Tambuwal, a current senator and former governor of Sokoto State, has promised that the PDP will win back control in the 2027 elections. During the delivery of Ramadan kits in Sokoto State on Monday, Tambuwal made this declaration.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
He said that PDP remains strong and will take back its mandate from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Ramadan package aims to support over 30,000 households.
He explained that PDP lawmakers at state and federal levels have also provided food and other assistance to help people during the holy month.
Tambuwal said the distribution includes thousands of bags of rice and grains, these items will be given to youth and women-led organisations to ease their fasting.
He praised the PDP chairman and leaders for keeping the party strong and urged unity among members, saying that PDP remains a united family.
Tambuwal claimed that the party’s mandate was “stolen” in the last election, however, he assured supporters that PDP is working to regain power.
